Health Workers Needed Under 55 with Specific Specialties: Arsen Torosyan

Arsen Torosyan, the Minister of Health of Armenia, made the following post on his Facebook page:

“Dear colleagues, beloved health workers,

During these tense and difficult days, our people need all of you more than ever. The newly formed healthcare subsystem for the fight against the coronavirus needs health workers without whom it will be impossible to treat our citizens who have contracted the virus in those medical centers.

In order to get this system up and running at full capacity, we need health workers under 55 years of age with the following specialties who will undergo short-term training on the principles of treating the coronavirus disease and will work at one of the healthcare facilities dealing with coronavirus treatment:

• Physicians of general or therapeutic profile (other profile physicians may also apply),
• Physicians specializing in laboratory work,
• Reanimatologists,
• Nurses,
• Midwives.
