Special Flight Organized to Bring Armenian Students and Teachers from Kolkata to Armenia
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, made the following post on his Facebook page: "On March 31, with the initiative and funding of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, and in coordination with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a special flight was organized to transport 68 students and their teachers from the Armenian Humanitarian High School in Kolkata, India, to Armenia.
The Armenian Humanitarian High School in Kolkata, operating under the auspices of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for nearly two centuries, is a public educational institution where children mainly from Armenia, Iran, Syria, Iraq, and other countries study."
