The police continue to enforce restrictions on the free movement of individuals to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus, following the decision of the Chief Medical Officer. On March 27, between 9 AM and 9 PM, administrative violation reports were drawn up against 722 individuals for violating isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. Prior to the decision coming into force until 9 PM on March 27, reports were filed against 1,659 individuals, of which 810 were in the capital and 849 in the regions.
During the same period, traffic police identified 462 vehicles in the republic that contained more than two individuals, and after the decision came into effect, 1,722 vehicles were noted by 9 PM on March 27. All individuals who violated the decision were required to exit their vehicles. Additionally, administrative violation reports were filed against 44 drivers of public transport for carrying more passengers than permitted.
The public is once again urged to strictly limit their movement outside of their homes and to exit only in cases of extreme necessity. Drivers are advised to transport only one passenger, adhering to the requirements set forth by the Chief Medical Officer's decision.
