36 Patients Have Pneumonia; Condition of Two is Extremely Critical
Fourteen individuals have tested negative for coronavirus and will be released from isolation. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, on his Facebook page.
“Currently, we have 36 patients with pneumonia. The condition of two of them is assessed as extremely critical. They are on artificial ventilation and have accompanying chronic diseases. Another patient's condition is classified as severe,” noted the Minister of Health.
He also mentioned that another 14 people will be released from isolation tomorrow, as their test results came back negative.
As of March 25 at 10:00 AM, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia was 265. Out of 1,315 tests, negative results were achieved, 16 citizens have recovered from the coronavirus, and 88 have been released from isolation.
The Government of Armenia has declared a state of emergency. The state of emergency is in effect throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia from March 16, 2020, at 18:30 until April 14, 2020, at 17:00. From March 24 at 23:59 until March 31 at 23:59, the freedom of movement of people will be restricted throughout the territory of Armenia.
