Larsi is Open Only for Trucks

According to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open only for freight transport following intensive snow removal efforts.

At the same time, it is reported that the restriction on the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
