The Total Number of Coronavirus Infected in Armenia Reaches 235
We have also received concerning figures, as we have confirmed 41 new cases. Out of the 235 individuals, 26 have pneumonia, but their condition is manageable. Most of the infected do not have a fever. This information was shared by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a live broadcast on his Facebook page.
“Moreover, the scale and geography of these cases raise certain concerns; an outbreak has been identified at the Mazra production facility in Kotayk and in one of the manufacturing facilities in the Erebuni community of Yerevan. We must implement more restrictive measures,” he stated.
He noted that the coronavirus is gaining new momentum globally, and we are witnessing some of its consequences in Armenia: “Around 300,000 people are considered infected with the coronavirus,” he mentioned.
