92 People Removed from Vehicles Due to Presence of Third Party, Says Mhryan
92 people have already been removed from vehicles due to the presence of a third party. We have also taken measures against two common transportation vehicles, and after 16:00, we will fully implement the legislation. This was announced by Deputy Chief of Police Haik Mhryan at a press conference held at the Government’s press center.
“The police urge citizens to comply with the restrictions set by the Governor through patrol services and communications, and demand that citizens adhere to the rules established by the Governor. The requirements have exceptions defined by the Governor’s instructions. Our forces are now entirely focused on ensuring compliance with these requirements, and I hope we can ensure their implementation,” said the deputy chief.
According to him, police officers are carrying out service across the entire territory of the republic within their quantitative limitations and are trying to completely close the chains to ensure compliance with the requirements.
In response to the question about the responsibility imposed for returning later than the time specified on the ticket, Mhryan stated that the responsibility is stipulated by legislation. The Head of the Department for Anti-Corruption and Criminal Policy Development, Arpine Sargsyan, also addressed the criminal and administrative responsibility for the restrictions, noting that the Ministry of Justice has drafted amendments and additions to the Administrative Offenses Code and the Criminal Code, which were accepted by the National Assembly starting March 23.
