SCC Proposes to Organize Work for Taxpayers Electronically

The State Revenue Committee informs that according to the last paragraph of part 4 of Article 289 of the RA Tax Code, individual taxpayers who completed taxable transactions for the sale of vehicles in 2019 were granted taxpayer identification numbers (TINs) by the tax authority. This information is posted on the official website of the State Revenue Committee.

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, the committee suggests that taxpayers organize their work electronically. To obtain information on completed transactions, the format for filling out reports, and the amount due for payment, you can contact the following phone numbers: (028) 541-969, (028) 459-790, (023) 539-401, (028) 139-706, (023) 249-474, (026) 451-551.

Subsequently, by the payment deadline for the obligation (for 2019, until April 20, 2020), it is necessary to make a transfer to the unified account 900008000490, indicating the TIN in the transfer document.

Individuals who have an identification card and an activated electronic signature (the steps for activating an electronic signature are described on www.ekeng.am) can access the electronic system for submitting reports to register in the new user management system by clicking the "Submit Application" button, entering their electronic address, and confirming it after receiving a message at the specified email address. Following the conclusion of a contract for the submission of tax calculations electronically in accordance with Article 310 of the RA Tax Code, the online user must also be registered.

Once granted the appropriate powers, they can submit the annual income declaration (report form No. 163, for non-resident individuals, form No. 164).

Individuals who do not have an identification card and activated electronic signature can authorize another individual with an identification card and activated electronic signature to register as an online authorized representative with a power of attorney in the form specified by the tax authority. For this purpose, the authorized individual must submit exclusively one of the electronic addresses of the SCC Taxpayer Service Department (preferably based on residence) the following documents: a completed, signed, and scanned application by the individual (sample form 1), a signed and scanned power of attorney granted to the authorized representative (sample form 2), the email address to which the message will be sent for access to the specified link, a photocopy of the individual's passport or identification card, and a photocopy of the authorized representative's identification card.

After signing the contract for the presentation of tax calculations electronically under the procedure established by Article 310 of the RA Tax Code through the link sent to the electronic address provided by citizens, it is also necessary to register the online user. Once granted the appropriate powers, they can submit the annual income declaration (report form No. 163, for non-resident individuals, form No. 164).

Sample forms of the application and power of attorney, as well as the electronic addresses of the SCC Taxpayer Service Department, can be found here.
