It Is Known Until What Date People's Right to Free Movement Will Be Restricted
Until March 31, 2020, at 23:59, the right to free movement of people will be restricted throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and mandatory self-isolation will be enforced at their permanent residence or any other location of their choice to limit direct contact with other people and prevent the possible spread of the infection.
Exceptions are defined for:
- Employees of entities engaged in non-prohibited economic activities specified by the Prime Minister's decree No. 14 dated March 24, 2020, and persons authorized to be present at the workplace as per the Prime Minister's decree No. 15 dated March 24, 2020, to travel to and from their workplace, provided they have a written document containing information stipulated in this decision and an identification document.
- Commercial entities selling food products and pharmacies, agricultural product markets, hospitals, and other medical institutions operating within and outside the trade locations specified in point 2 of Article 3 of the Law on Trade and Services of the Republic of Armenia dated November 24, 2004 (HO-134-N), as well as visits to residences or shelters of persons in need of care, and to places for funerals and memorial services, provided there is a written document with information stipulated in this decision and an identification document.
- Physical exercises or cycling in the vicinity of the place of residence only once during the day, upon having a completed form stipulated in this decision and an identification document.
In cases specified in points 1 and 2 of paragraph 2 of this decision, the transportation of a maximum of two persons (including the driver) by personal vehicles is permitted. This decision enters into force on March 24, 2020, at 23:59.
