Decision Made to Expedite the Agenda of the Regular Parliamentary Sessions

“Hayots Ashkharh” reports: Today, the regular session of the National Assembly begins, and yesterday, the agenda was confirmed during a session of the National Assembly Council. According to the newspaper, a decision has been made internally to complete the agenda of the sessions as quickly as possible, considering the state of emergency and the fact that a large number of people are present in the hall.

Additionally, during conversations, MPs have been urged not to overload the agenda with too many issues. It is noteworthy that the “My Step” faction had discussed this issue at their meeting on March 21.

According to “Hayots Ashkharh,” even yesterday’s session of the National Assembly Council lasted only a few minutes, with NA President Ararat Mirzoyan presenting the agenda of the regular sessions, which was confirmed without questions or speeches.

Furthermore, the agenda for today’s session will include draft proposals being discussed in their second reading, which are not expected to take much time. The only draft in the parliament that could lead to a lengthy discussion is the package of amendments and additions to the Constitution on the Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia, which has been labeled the vetting project.
