Emergency Calls Decrease, Says Takhuhy Stepanyan
If in January and February we serviced 900-950 calls per day, today we are servicing 700-750 calls. This was stated by the director of the emergency medical service, Takhuhy Stepanyan, during a meeting with journalists.
According to her, the main calls are for cardiovascular diseases, followed by acute respiratory illnesses, and third are calls for injuries. She added, “If we compare the number of acute respiratory illnesses to the statistics from January and February, I must note that the number of acute respiratory illnesses has also decreased.”
