No Cases of Coronavirus Infection Recorded in Artsakh's Defense Army
Today, under the instruction of Artsakh's Minister of Defense, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, the head of the military medical service, Colonel Hrach Yeghoryan, conducted inspection visits to several military units and hospitals located in the central direction of the Defense Army to familiarize himself with the ongoing anti-epidemic measures aimed at preventing the spread of the new type of coronavirus in the military.
The military medical service head checked the organization of internal service regulations, adherence to pass regime, sanitary conditions, and the implementation of the commander’s directives aimed at preventing the coronavirus infection among the personnel.
It should also be noted that as a result of the preventive measures undertaken by the command, no cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the army. The military units and hospitals are provided with disinfectants and necessary tools for preventing epidemic diseases.
Currently, all necessary anti-epidemic measures are being implemented to keep the army free of the virus, with disinfection operations carried out in the units. Personnel is equipped with medications to enhance their resistance, and training sessions on increasing sanitary and hygienic safety are held with military personnel. Reports on the outcomes of these sessions and any arising problematic issues are periodically communicated to the army commander.
