The Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Crisis Management Center, Tigran Avinyan, announced on his Facebook page that starting from March 22, certain types of economic activities will be prohibited in the Republic of Armenia.

“As part of the fight against the coronavirus disease, from March 22 until the end of the state of emergency, the following types of economic activities will be banned in the territory of the Republic of Armenia:

  1. Shopping centers, excluding retail activities for food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products.
  2. Operations of bars, nightclubs, and dance halls.
  3. Screening of motion pictures.
  4. Casinos.
  5. Serving offices for organizing betting and gambling activities.

The Crisis Management Center is making every effort to ensure the safety of our people, mobilize the forces of the Armenian nation, and overcome the challenges we face together.”
