Nearly 2000 sqm Area Caught Fire, According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations

The National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received two alerts yesterday regarding fires that erupted in various grass-covered areas of the republic, covering approximately 200 square meters or more. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Specifically, in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan, around 1000 square meters of reeds caught fire, and in Masis city of Ararat province, a similar area of approximately 1000 square meters was affected. The firefighters managed to isolate and extinguish the fires.
