Avoid Participation in Any Fundraising on Behalf of the Ministry of Defense: Armenian Unified Information Center

The Armenian Unified Information Center requests the public to refrain from participating in any fundraising efforts on behalf of the Ministry of Defense or presented for the Ministry’s benefit.

The post specifically mentions: Recently, due to the penetration and spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia, some public circles abroad have organized various fundraising events, claiming that all proceeds will be spent on the medical needs of the army. This is unacceptable.

We urge and demand that such activities be avoided and that the name of the army not be exploited. We assure you that the Armed Forces are adequately supplied with the necessary materials and equipment and do not require additional aid or support.

We kindly ask everyone to avoid participating in any fundraising efforts on behalf of the Ministry of Defense or for the benefit of the Ministry.
