Aeroflot Halts Flights to Several Countries Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Russia's largest airline, Aeroflot, is suspending flights to several countries, including Azerbaijan, India, Sweden, Finland, Bulgaria, and Croatia, according to a statement from the company reported by RIA Novosti.
Flights from Moscow to Delhi will be temporarily suspended from March 22 to March 28, to Helsinki from March 23 to April 2, to Stockholm from March 23 to April 17, to Baku from March 29 to April 30, to Zagreb from March 24 to April 19, to Sofia from March 27 to April 17, and to Athens from March 24 to April 18.
The airline will continue to operate flights from Moscow to the following European cities: Brussels, London, Berlin, Dublin, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam, Bucharest, Geneva, and Paris. However, the carrier will reduce the number of flights to Berlin, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
