VIDEO: Armen Sarkissian Meets with Arsen Torosyan

President Armen Sarkissian held a working meeting today with Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan. This information was provided to NEWS.am by the presidential press service.

The minister briefed the President on the current situation and trends regarding the spread of the new coronavirus in Armenia, as well as the measures being implemented for prevention and treatment of the infection. The minister also addressed existing challenges.

President Sarkissian emphasized the importance of actions aimed at protecting the health of the population and resisting the spread of the new coronavirus. He deemed the cooperation with various countries and relevant international organizations essential for the exchange of experience and information, which can also contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the fight against the disease.

President Sarkissian expressed his readiness to support and assist the government in this matter in every possible way.
