Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Announces Important Update

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia has issued an announcement stating:

“Dear citizens, we remind you that applications for various programs—such as the one-time childbirth benefit, child care benefit for children under 2 years of age, and the one-time burial benefit—can be submitted ONLINE at this link. In the guidelines, you can find the sequence of steps.

❗️Additionally, we note that in order to receive the burial benefit, applications can now also be submitted via Civil Status Registration bodies.

After registering a pensioner’s death certificate, the Civil Status Registration body, with the consent of the applicant, can submit an online application for the burial benefit. This means that there is no longer a need to visit the local social security office or to submit an online application in person for the burial benefit.
