Another 5 Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia, Total Reaches 115
As of March 19, at 09:00 AM, the situation regarding the coronavirus disease in Armenia has confirmed an additional 5 cases from the tests conducted. The health condition of all patients is assessed as satisfactory by doctors.
This information was posted by Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, on her Facebook page. Overall, there are currently 115 confirmed cases. We have 1 recovery case. The data from the epidemiological analysis indicates that 99 cases are linked to two primary cases.
The Ministry of Health is once again urging everyone to stay home, limit contact, follow personal hygiene practices, and frequently wash hands with soap for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating and after returning home. It is advised to minimize the use of public transport whenever possible, maintain at least 1 meter of distance during interactions, and refrain from self-medication in case of flu-like symptoms. Notify your doctor if you have returned from countries with a tense epidemiological situation and self-isolate for 14 days while contacting your clinic’s doctor. Regularly check your temperature and inform your doctor of the results. Do not panic and follow your doctor's advice.
We remind you that the Ministry of Health operates a 24-hour “hotline” service at 8003 and an “operational call center” at 060838300.
