Meeting of the Commandant's Office Held
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and Head of the Commandant's Office during the state of emergency, Tigran Avinyan, chaired a regular meeting of the Commandant's Office on March 20.
According to the information provided by the Government of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan stated, "We are beginning the regular meeting of the Commandant's Office. First of all, I would like to congratulate our colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, on his birthday. Mr. Mnatsakanyan, thank you, and the entire staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our ambassadors, and our diplomats for their high-quality work, especially during this difficult period."
“Today we will discuss various issues, problems, and solutions proposed by different agencies. We will also consider certain new measures that are expected to be introduced in a very short time. This concerns, in particular, issues regarding the elderly and their way of life, defining certain opportunities for them and measures to protect them from certain risks,” he added.
To ensure the normal operation of production companies, the expansion of the list of goods and raw materials permitted for circulation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia has been discussed. It was emphasized that since the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is negotiating with Haypost CJSC for the company's employees to personally visit the beneficiaries' residences and deliver pensions, ensuring the safety of postal workers and equipping them with sanitary-hygienic protective measures is a priority.
The application of information technology tools in the fight against the coronavirus disease was also addressed, as well as the regulation of employer-employee relations during the state of emergency.
