Anna Hakobyan's Office Provides Details of Meeting with Melania Trump

The office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, has shared details from her meeting with US First Lady Melania Trump on March 4.

In an interview with Armenpress, Anna Hakobyan's spokesperson Hasmik Harutyunyan noted that the meeting took place prior to the annual International Women of Courage Award ceremony.

“Before the award ceremony, there was a brief private conversation between Anna Hakobyan and Melania Trump. Melania Trump welcomed Anna Hakobyan’s visit to the United States and emphasized the importance of her participation in the award ceremony. Anna Hakobyan spoke about her activities related to various foundations. Both sides discussed the roles and missions of the First Ladies of their respective countries, highlighting the significance and impact of women in this context. Anna Hakobyan and Melania Trump also discussed the conduct of the award ceremony, noting that such events are vital and serve as a great example, inspiring other women,” Hasmik Harutyunyan stated.
