The Deputy Prime Minister's Decision Temporarily Restricts the Export of Certain Products from Armenia

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the head of the emergency situation management, Tigran Avinyan, has decided to temporarily restrict the export of certain products, including to EAEU member countries. This decision has been published on the e-gov.am website.

“Guided by point 2, 6, and 7 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 298-N from March 16, 2020, on declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia and point 18 of the decision's appendix, 1. To temporarily restrict the export of the products specified in the decision's appendix from the Republic of Armenia, including to EAEU countries. Moreover, the export of medical products indicated in this decision's appendix may be permitted by the State Revenue Committee based on the written consent of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia regarding the types and quantities of products to be exported.

2. Acknowledge that the transportation of goods between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia is carried out in accordance with the procedures established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 197-N dated February 24, 2020.

3. The President of the State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan and the Minister of Health of Armenia Arsen Torosyan are to ensure the implementation of the measures outlined in this decision.

4. This decision shall enter into force on March 18, 2020, at 23:00.

5. This decision applies to both exports that are in the customs clearance process before this decision comes into force and to the goods actually subject to export.”
