Ibuprofen and Other Medications Should Only Be Used According to a Doctor's Prescription, Health Ministry Urges
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia urges individuals experiencing flu-like symptoms to immediately consult their primary healthcare provider and to refrain from self-medication.
"It is important to know that there is no credible evidence to support the effectiveness of medications like 'Arbidol' and similar drugs in the treatment of coronavirus disease. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as 'Ibuprofen' and others, should only be used based on a doctor's instructions," the message states.
It is also reminded that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia has reached 122.
