The Number of Coronavirus Infections in Armenia Reaches 84

Currently, we have a confirmed 84 cases of coronavirus infection, announced Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a Facebook live session.

“We are continuing to work with a strategy of isolation for now. Apart from cases in Ejmiadzin and the manufacturing plant, the remaining cases are local. For example, in Charentsavan, there are local cases that have had no contact with other people, having arrived from France,” the Prime Minister stated.

Pashinyan noted that 81% of the cases are due to the situations in Ejmiadzin and the manufacturing plant. “The incidents in Ejmiadzin have slowed down, while regarding the manufacturing plant, we are ‘in the running.’ We currently have 444 people under isolation and more than 700 people whom we have asked to self-isolate,” the Prime Minister added.
