The Ministry of Health Notifies 'Gloria' Director of Service Inquiry into Bus Accident
The Ministry of Health and Labor Inspection of Armenia has sent a notification to the director of 'Gloria' company regarding the service inquiry into the bus overturning incident that occurred on the Vanadzor-Spitak highway. This was announced by the head of the Ministry, Hakob Avagyan, during a press conference on March 18.
“Today we have issued a notification to the director of 'Gloria' company, informing them that they are required to conduct a service inquiry to determine who is responsible for the incident and to report the results to our inspection body. Depending on the results, we will also initiate administrative proceedings to see whether there was any employer culpability and whether the provisions of Armenian legislation were violated,” said Avagyan.
After the accident, it became clear that the bus was carrying employees heading to the production facility of 'Gloria' company. The National Crisis Management Center received a report at 08:43 on March 17 about the accident on the Vanadzor-Spitak highway. It was revealed that at the 13th kilometer of the Vanadzor-Spitak highway, a 'PAZ' bus had left the roadway and overturned. As a result of the accident, 20 people were transferred to the Spitak medical center, and 2 people to the Vanadzor medical center.
