Restrictions on Leaving Echmiadzin to End at 20:00 Today: Avinyan

Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has announced on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots,
Starting from today at 20:00, the restriction on exiting the town of Vagharshapat (Echmiadzin) and the thermal screenings on the remaining three roads will be lifted, considering that the cases have not extended beyond the contacts of the patient confirmed nearly a week ago.

At the same time, I urge the residents of Echmiadzin, as well as our entire population, to strictly adhere to all the rules of the state of emergency and demonstrate a high sense of civic responsibility and awareness. Please avoid participating in or organizing large gatherings and events, self-isolate in case of flu-like symptoms, and if necessary, immediately contact a doctor or reach out to the hotline at 060 838300.”
