Patient Dies at ‘Nork’ Infectious Diseases Hospital at Age 49: Prime Minister Provides Details
Dear compatriots, on March 17, a 49-year-old patient was transferred from Armenia Medical Center to the ‘Nork’ Infectious Diseases Hospital with a diagnosis of lung edema, bilateral pneumonia, and respiratory failure, who was suspected of having a coronavirus infection.
This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.
“Samples were taken and the results were negative, which means the presence of coronavirus in the patient’s body has been ruled out. At the same time, all measures of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation were undertaken, additional brigades were involved, but unfortunately, we could not save the citizen's life. Given the current situation related to coronavirus, I find it necessary to specifically note that the citizen's death has no connection to coronavirus,” he emphasized.
