13 Citizens Detained for Blocking Road in Stepanakert
The Police of the Republic of Artsakh has reported on its Facebook page that an administrative process has been initiated concerning an incident that occurred in Stepanakert around 18:05 today. Thirteen citizens have been detained for violating Article 140 of the Administrative Offenses Code, which relates to blocking the road and creating obstacles for traffic, including parking vehicles on the road.
The Artsakh Police also urges citizens to refrain from any actions that disrupt public order, as these actions disproportionately infringe on the rights of others, including freedom of movement. Otherwise, the police will intervene to prevent such violations, and offenders will be held accountable.
This incident happened during a protest organized by the Artsakh Revolutionary Party against President Bako Sahakyan and presidential candidate Arayik Harutyunyan.
