Major Accident in Lori: Opel Collides with ‘PAZ’, Vehicle Overturns, 19 Injured

A major traffic accident occurred in the Lori region today, March 17, around 08:20 AM. On the Spitak-Vanadzor highway in the administrative territory of New Khachakrap, vehicles with license plates 35 TF 147, a ‘PAZ 672’, and 36 AO 038, an Opel, collided.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the ‘PAZ’ overturned. Nineteen people with varying degrees of bodily injuries were transferred to the Spitak Medical Center.

First responders included civilians and employees of the Emergency Situations Ministry Rescue Service who arrived promptly at the scene. The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured. Witnesses at the site stated that the ‘PAZ’ contained workers from a garment factory operating in Vanadzor.
