Georgia's Ban on Foreign Entry Excludes Armenian Freight Carriers
The Embassy of Armenia in Georgia has announced that the decision to ban the entry of foreigners into Georgian territory does not apply to Armenian freight carriers, effective midnight today.
As soon as the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway, which has been closed due to adverse weather conditions, reopens, Armenian freight carriers will be able to continue their transportation activities through Georgia.
Additionally, we inform that trucks conducting freight transport exclusively on the Armenia-Georgia-Armenia route (not heading to Russia) can still enter and exit through the Armenian-Georgian border points without restrictions.
We also urge everyone to rely solely on information provided by official sources.
