22 People Transferred to Hospitals Following ‘Gloria’ Factory Bus Accident
Earlier today, a bus from the ‘Gloria’ sewing factory overturned on the Vanadzor-Spitak highway, resulting in 22 injured individuals being transferred to medical centers by 10:30 AM.
The Spitak medical center reported that they received almost all the injured, totaling 21 people with varying degrees of bodily injuries, primarily fractures. All the victims underwent and are still undergoing medical examinations, and preliminary decisions have been made to hospitalize 12 of them. The medical center also stated that there are currently no victims in serious condition.
One person was also transferred to the Vanadzor medical center. Attempts to contact the medical center were unsuccessful.
The Spitak medical center requested to provide more detailed information about the conditions of the victims later, once all personal examinations are completed.
It should be noted that it has been snowing in Lori since early morning; however, the Vanadzor-Spitak highway remained passable. The bus accident occurred at the beginning of the Nor Khachakab village when the factory bus, carrying employees from Spitak, collided with an OPEL car before overturning.
