Ucom Decides to Operate Under Emergency Regime

Ucom has decided to shift to an emergency operational regime, recognizing the extraordinary situation and assessing the importance of uninterrupted access to internet and mobile services during these days. This information was reported by the press service of Ucom.

34 service centers across the republic will continue operations, while others will be temporarily closed. Continuous disinfection activities are already being carried out in the sales and service centers. Employees in offices and service halls are providing services while wearing protective masks and gloves, and disinfectants are constantly available in the offices.

Employees are temperature-checked upon entering the office and throughout the day. The Ucom network monitoring center, server rooms, technical support department, and other strategic divisions are prepared and working on a 24/7 schedule.

“We remind you that all online platforms continue to operate—services and equipment can be accessed at shop.ucom.am for service payments at www.ucom.am/pay. Each issue in the technical support department will be addressed according to the priorities set during the emergency state.

We also remind you that the Ministry of Health's hotline at 8003 operates free of charge, even for zero or negative balances. Valuing the comfort of our subscribers during these days at home, we announce that the uTV television service has added a “Free” section in the video rental department, featuring a variety of films for subscribers of all ages without any charges.

We will keep you informed about further steps. Follow the recommendations from the Ministry of Health and stay healthy. Below are the addresses and working hours of the offices that will continue to operate,” the statement reads.
