Armenia's Financial System Continues Normal Operations: Central Bank
The financial system of the Republic of Armenia continues to operate normally. This was announced by the Central Bank of Armenia.
The announcement also stated, "As we previously informed, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia has urged commercial banks and credit organizations to apply an individual approach to borrowers (for example, in the fields of hotels, restaurants, transportation, and entertainment) regarding their credit obligations in the current situation, ensuring communication to avoid undesirable consequences with mutual consent.
Additionally, banks and credit organizations operating on the territory of the Republic of Armenia have provided remote working conditions for their employees in high-risk categories (those over sixty years old, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic illnesses) at their discretion within the framework of coronavirus prevention measures.
