Police Discover Ashot Known as 'Shnadzuk' in Dilijan

On March 9, officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Dilijan Police Department, part of the Tavush Regional Division, apprehended resident Ashot P. on suspicion of illegal drug trafficking and possession of illegal drugs.

According to Shamshyan.com, during the apprehension, Ashot P. was found to be in possession of a substantial quantity of the drug “Amphetamine,” weighing 3.91 grams.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Tavush Regional Investigative Department under Article 268, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code, and Ashot P. has been arrested by a decision of the investigator.

The law enforcement authorities of Tavush have also identified another suspect, Artush F., a resident of the Lori region, who has been arrested on suspicion of committing an act described under Article 266, Part 3, Point 2 of the RA Criminal Code.

Police conducted searches at the residences of the suspects and discovered substances resembling various types of drugs. The authorities also received operational information regarding who sold the drugs to Ashot P.

According to sources, Ashot P. is more widely known in the Tavush region by the nickname 'Shnadzuk.'
