Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan Have Self-Isolated

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in a recent Facebook live broadcast that he and Anna Hakobyan have undergone a coronavirus test, despite being confident that they do not have the virus. Pashinyan is currently self-isolating with his family at their home in Sevan.

"Since yesterday, we have been concerned as one of the assistants to the President of Brazil has tested positive for the coronavirus, and the President himself has also taken a test and is awaiting results. Upon learning this yesterday, we decided to self-isolate. On our way to Sevan this evening, we learned that the Brazilian President's test came back positive. On March 7, Anna had met with the First Lady of Brazil and, ironically, posed for a photo while embracing. We first checked our temperature and found we had none. However, afterward, the news about the infection of the Brazilian President was denied. But for now, we will remain in isolation, and we will take another test tomorrow morning to ensure that everything is fine. Our test results will be available tomorrow. Whatever happens, we will inform you. Despite the preliminary discussions with experts indicating that it is almost zero probability that our test results will be positive," said Pashinyan.

"We love you all, we are proud of all of you, but we are not kissing because these are times of coronavirus," Pashinyan concluded the live broadcast, wishing everyone good health.
