New Strain of Coronavirus Spread in China Began on November 17, Not December

The first case of the new strain of coronavirus occurred in China on November 17, rather than December as the Chinese authorities have published. This was reported by the South China Morning Post.

Documents obtained by the reporters suggest that the first person infected with the new disease could be a 55-year-old resident of Hubei province, but his status as the zero patient, meaning the first infected individual, has not yet been officially confirmed.

Today, the number of coronavirus cases around the world continues to rise, reaching 131,621. In Armenia, 6 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed.
