Young Woman Dies from Bilateral Pneumonia in Armenia

On March 8, a woman aged between 23-25 was admitted to Martuni Medical Center with bilateral pneumonia. On the same day, she was transferred to Erebuni Medical Center, where she subsequently died. This was reported by Andranik Harutyunyan, the director of Martuni Medical Center, in a conversation with NEWS.am.

“The patient reported to us at 17:15 with bilateral pneumonia, and all necessary measures were taken. She was transferred to Erebuni Medical Center at 22:30 in the evening, and after some time, she passed away. There was no suspicion of coronavirus; she had a severe case of pneumonia, and a tumor had developed in her lungs,” said the medical center director.
