BMW Crashes into Gas Station Equipment and Wall in Yerevan; One Injured
A serious car accident occurred in Yerevan today, March 12. Around 00:30, 40-year-old Mihael Hakobyan, a resident of Andranik Street, lost control of his BMW with license plate 97 GG 888 near the gas station located at 90/1 Sherami Street. He veered into oncoming traffic, collided with the 'Flash' gas station charging equipment, knocked it over, and crashed into the wall of the station's staff room.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver M. Hakobyan was taken to 'Astghik' medical center with bodily injuries. The first to provide assistance were the gas station employees, and fortunately, there was no outbreak of fire.
The source reports that someone at the scene threatened that if the car's license plates were published in the media, there would be problems. Several citizens at the scene, who refused to speak in front of the camera, stated, 'He is one of the nicknamed individuals from our neighborhood, who is more often referred to as 'Ttkhmor'.'
The driver underwent a sobriety test which revealed that he was sober. By the investigator's orders, the vehicle was transported to a designated secure area of Yerevan's traffic police.
