Armenia Airlines Suspends Most Flight Operations, Says Deputy Director
Armenia Airlines is suspending the majority of its flight operations until April 16 due to the widespread transmission of the coronavirus, which has led to mass ticket refunds. This was announced by Gevorg Khachatryan, the airline's deputy director, on his Facebook page.
He specifically wrote: "Dear colleagues and passengers, Armenia Airlines is suspending the majority of its flights until April 16 due to the widespread transmission of the coronavirus, which has led to mass ticket refunds. To date, more than 1500 flight tickets have been refunded, and all passengers have received their money back or have been allowed free changes to their travel dates. The primary concern for Armenia Airlines remains the safety of its flight crew and passengers, despite significant financial losses incurred during this period."
All flights between Yerevan and Lyon are canceled until April 16, while flights on the Yerevan-Tel Aviv-Yerevan route are canceled until April 9. We wish you good health!
