Violations Recorded in Fuel Purchase Process at Ministry of Defense: State Oversight Service

The Republic of Armenia's State Oversight Service has conducted an investigation into the legality and effectiveness of the procurement process for diesel fuel at the Ministry of Defense for the needs of 2019.

In this case, the procurement process for diesel fuel from the company 'Gaz Oil' by the Ministry of Defense was examined, where violations related to the purchasing process were recorded. These included issues with planning the purchase item, selecting the method of procurement, delivery, compliance of the supplied diesel fuel with its technical specifications, and other related circumstances.

The findings of the investigation have been forwarded to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia for a legal assessment of the recorded violations.
