The whereabouts of the young man who attempted suicide near the 'Victory' Bridge is unknown for 4 days
On March 7, the whereabouts of a 24-year-old man who attempted suicide near the 'Victory' Bridge in Yerevan is unknown for 4 days. The last known information indicates that he signed out and left the 'Nairi' Medical Center on March 8, not wishing to remain there.
The center that operates under the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which provides services to lonely elderly and disabled individuals, is worried as Razmik has been living there for 6 months. Lilith Aghajanyan, the director of the center, told 'Haykakan Zhamanak' that they have not been able to obtain any news about the young man since the incident. He has not returned to the shelter, and they currently do not have a working phone number for him, as he lost the previous one while hanging from the bridge.
“Social Protection is also looking for him, trying to clarify his whereabouts through friends who grew up with him in the same orphanage. I don’t want to think of bad things because this is not the first case; there have been times when he didn’t come to the shelter for several days and then turned up, saying he was at a friend’s place. Well, he is an adult; we cannot keep track of him, but there is internal anxiety after recent events,” said Aghajanyan.
It should be recalled that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had prevented the suicide of 24-year-old Razmik Petrosyan near the 'Victory' Bridge on the evening of March 7 during his regional tour.
