Tehran Agrees to Hand Over Black Boxes of Crashed Boeing to Kyiv

Tehran has agreed to hand over the black boxes of the crashed Boeing to Kyiv. This was announced by Andriy Shevchenko, the Ukrainian ambassador in Canada. According to him, this was confirmed by Iran's representative Farhad Pavehresh at the Montreal International Civil Aviation Organization council.

If additional analysis is needed, the black boxes will be transferred to France. Iranian authorities had previously stated that the decoding of the black boxes will take place in Iran.

It is reminded that the aircraft belonging to Ukrainian Airlines crashed in Tehran on January 8, resulting in the deaths of all 176 people on board, including crew members and passengers.
