Public Catering Facility Lacked Measures to Prevent Insect and Rodent Entry

Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspectorate's regional center in Armavir conducted state control measures at a public catering facility owned by individual entrepreneur Aram Khachatryan in the Araks community of the Armavir region. This information was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Food Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia.

It was found that sanitary-hygienic norms were not maintained; production, trade, auxiliary, and residential areas were not clean or in repair. The public catering point was not equipped with the necessary furnishings and equipment, and no appropriate measures were taken to prevent the entry of insects and rodents into food preparation, processing, and storage areas, as well as to combat pests.

It was also revealed that Aram Khachatryan himself, who is involved in the food preparation process, had not undergone a preliminary medical examination and did not possess a sanitary book.

The production activities of the public catering facility have been suspended, and a directive has been issued to rectify the violations with a specified deadline.
