Large Fire Breaks Out in Dilijan Forests

On March 11, at 19:35, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a fire had broken out in the area adjacent to the second turn of Dilijan city in the Tavush region.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 20:45 and extinguished by 22:45. Approximately 2 hectares of forested area were burned, including 7 pines, 30 oaks, and other trees, with 40 pines severely scorched.
