Car Overturns in Gegharkunik, Resulting in 1 Death and 3 Injuries

On March 10, a fatal car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 23:50, a 27-year-old resident of the village of Lichk, Zovik Irizyan, was driving a VAZ 21099 vehicle on the 45th kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway when, for reasons still unknown, he veered off the roadway and overturned.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver Z. Irizyan and his passengers, 52-year-old Karine Irizyan, a fellow villager, and 4-year-old Sirush Abrahamyan from Yerevan, were taken to the Gavarr medical center with bodily injuries, while another passenger, 25-year-old Mariam Irizyan from Yerevan, died at the scene.
