Fatal Accident Involving Young Man on Sevan-Gegham Highway
On March 10, at 17:15, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a traffic accident had occurred at the 25th km of the Sevan-Gegham highway, with injuries reported.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a "VAZ 21-099" vehicle had hit Roman U. (born in 1996), and subsequently collided with a "Mercedes C180" and a "VAZ-2107" vehicle.
Before the rescuers arrived, three individuals (identity not yet determined) were transported to the Gavar Medical Center, while Roman U. succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.
The rescuers disabled the vehicles and closed the gas tank valves.
