26-Year-Old Woman Attempted to Be Choked to Death

On March 9, at 5:35 PM, the police department of Hrazdan received a report from the hospital that a 26-year-old woman, diagnosed with "soft tissue injury to the face, partial strangulation of the neck," had sought medical assistance and stated that she had been assaulted.

Through investigative measures, it was revealed that on the same day, around 4:00 PM, the 17-year-old son of her husband had attempted to choke her with an electric wire in one of the houses in the village of Lernanist, Kotayk Province.

Thanks to operational and investigative measures, the suspect was located and taken to the Hrazdan department, where he has been arrested. A forensic medical examination has been ordered. Investigations are ongoing.
