Collision Between 60-Year-Old Driver's Lexus and 36-Year-Old Driver's Honda Results in Injuries

Today, March 9, a traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 15:30, a collision took place between the Lexus, driven by 60-year-old Eduard H. with license plate JJ 017 SS, and the Honda, driven by 36-year-old Mamikon A. with license plate 58 DQ 558, on the 23rd km of the Yerevan-Garni highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, passengers in the Honda, including 62-year-old Ruben G. from Yerevan, 63-year-old Aida A., and 57-year-old Mikhail L., a citizen of the Russian Federation, were transported with bodily injuries to the “St. Grigor Lusavorich” medical center.

Operational units from the 2nd police battalion's 3rd company, led by company commander Arthur Petrosyan and platoon commander Tigran Kottanjyan, arrived at the scene promptly.

The investigative team was directed by senior investigator Avetik Avetisyan from the same company, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
