Accident Involving Four Cars on Sebastia Street: Casualties Reported

At 00:51 on March 8, the National Crisis Management Center received information that an accident had occurred on Sebastia Street in Yerevan, near the "999" gas station, involving a fire outbreak and casualties.

Three fire and rescue units from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that the cars involved were a Honda Accord (driver: Arsen S., born in 1987), a Toyota Camry (driver: Haik K., born in 1995), a Nissan Murano (driver: Hovhannes Y., born in 1982), and a Mercedes-Benz S (driver: Sedrak S., born in 1986).

An electrical short circuit occurred in the engine compartment of the Toyota Camry without igniting a fire. The driver of the Honda Accord, Arsen S., was pronounced dead at the scene, while passenger Arthur H. (born in 1986) and drivers Sedrak S. and Haik K. were hospitalized with varying degrees of bodily injuries at Astghik Medical Center, where doctors assessed Haik K.'s condition as critical. Sedrak S. received first aid and was discharged, while Arthur H. died in the hospital.

The rescuers отключили the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry and performed cooling operations on the Toyota Camry.
