Drugs and Pills Discovered in Kosh Prison
On March 5 at around 10:15 PM, employees of the RA Ministry of Justice's Kosh penitentiary institution, acting on operational information, discovered a package concealed and wrapped in transparent adhesive tape during a search of the residential area of the institution. To ensure its weight, metal screws were attached to the package.
The package contained a greenish substance resembling marijuana, weighing approximately 8 grams, as well as pills marked "B8," weighing 6 grams, which were broken and crushed and similar to Subutex.
Simultaneously, thanks to the operational cooperation between the penitentiary staff and the police officers of the Aragatsotn regional division, the individual who had thrown the drug package was apprehended immediately after the incident and was taken to the relevant police department.
Investigation materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and the discovered items have been sent for forensic examination.
